I Had a Favorite Teacher

Since it's back to school time who was your favorite teacher and why?
rhouse · 56-60, M
My fifth grade teacher because he sent a note home one day saying that I got a B on a test and he wasn't going to put up with that from me. He was the one who knew my potential and insisted that I lived up to it. Two masters degrees later with a 3.95 average, I still think he is the best teacher I have ever had.

@rhouse He sounds tough and very observant not sure I ever had a teacher that would notice a B.

Can't remember the name, but a college professor. He actually worked in the field while teaching, and he just made everything understandable.

@raysam363 It's wonderful he was hands on and was able to make the material understood. :) I always liked teachers who taught so many just expected you to take notes and teach yourself

My 5th grade teacher, She pushed me alot....to keep going, when she knew it was pretty tough at home! I used to see her around a lot and she always remembered me....

@SW-User I love an inspiring teacher. Reading has always been my favorite hobby so much so growing up I wanted to be a librarian.

My 3rd grade teacher because she was really kind.

@BeeHiveState That's wonderful! I remember my 2nd grade teacher Mrs. Henderson she was the kindest and I loved when she'd read to us after lunch.
