I Look For Signs And Symbols In Life

Signs and symbols in my life played a HUGE part of my life. It was because of signs and symbols that I got to have a better understanding of myself and my life. And no I don't mean magically helped me. I mean this like, for the longest time I hated red birds with a passion. I just didn't like them, they were just awful to me and I didn't know why growing up. For me they were always a warning in life. I remember a time where I was walking home and I was going to cut down this one street I never seen before. It was Cardinal Lane, which is a red bird. So I turned around and as soon as I did a car crashed happened. I would have been killed by a drunk driver if I didn't turn around. Then when I got older I realized I hated red birds because my Ant who would say mean, nasty, horrible things about my and my family. Would always wear a red bird somewhere on her outfit. It was her "symbol of luck", she would say.

There could be this "great power" out there sure, but I know for me. Studying the signs and symbols around me help me understand myself deeply. If I wasn't so curios to want things stand for then I wouldn't have had this great understand of who I am and how things effect me.
