I Hate Taking Tests

Tests are the worst.

I've read articles about how some people know something and then forget it on a test. Usually they're called bad test takers. I'm one of those people. I will forget something. I studied it, it was in my head and I try to recall it, but I can't. The worst part is I can almost remember.

I wish tests weren't part of learning. Seems like if you fail a test "you don't know the material." Um, well, I kind of do...

You actually won't learn from tests in the long run. Standardized testing may not be a thing in the future. What you really learn from is hands on experience, or watching other people do what you're trying to learn themselves.

It is. In fact, Florida will be doing away with it in the near future. Knowledge is not determined by testing or a college degree at all. Our government fails to understand that.

Exactly. The government should be extensively researching the best methods of teaching youth. The current method seems the worst to me.

What they try to do is put you in a box, and tell you that if you think outside that box you won't amount to anything. You want an example of someone who thought outside this box they're trying to cram around us? Albert Einstein. As well as another guy who's name escapes me at the moment. Hell, even I can be used as an example. A few years ago I took two IQ tests. One for things one apparently needs for college for whatever reason, and things that will actually be useful in the real world.

The one for school...I failed...big time. I think I scored a 40 or something along those lines. However, I scored a 116 on the other test.
