I Have Seizures
Despite clinical evidence in an EEG, the doctors have continued to label it as a psychiatric condition. It's not.
And yet my dentist refuses to give me general anaesthesia for tooth extractions and root canals.
The previous dentist refused to give me any form of pain relief before drilling into 4 teeth close to the gum line. This was after making a phone call to the dr I had at the time and being told that I had 'syncope.'
I collapsed on the floor after the painful fillings and the dentist had to help me up.
Oh by the way I had clinical evidence for both syncope and seizures, so I guess they thought they could pick the easier label and shrug it off as a mental condition.
I also have some functional challenges including learning difficulties, sensory overload and getting lost a lot. These too have been shrugged off as psychiatric.
