You have my empathy. I am a 71 year old woman weighing in the 220s.i am on the Nutrisystem diet and I swim everyday. I've been at this for over 3 months and have lost 12 lbs. But some days I want to scream because the weight loss is going so slowly and I have so much to lose (at least 60 lbs.) A lb. a week is actually a decent weight loss for someone my age but I feel overwhelmed by the task.
Quitting is not an option for me; I have serious arthritis and walking has become nearly impossible for me. It took me 3 months to get to where I can waddle down the street for half a block without screaming. I was a bedridden invalid for over a year and that's how I gained the weight. Feel free to message me if you need support!

That's good. I hope you reach your goal. Just a little suggestion that might help, stay away from 1. Soda even diet pop. Just drink water. 2. Eat very few carbs, bread rice, and anything starchy. 3. Stay away from cooking oils, and frying food's. 3. Salt. 4. Candy, potato chips, cakes, and anything that pertains to sugar. Good luck...

All good tips that I follow. I'm trying to loose weight at a healthy pace. Normally when I do start cutting I drop around 8lbs or more a week.
