just because you ignore it does not mean it isn't happening

these things are happening and we all brush it under the rug because we are so busy indulging in our first world lives that we forget the tragedy that lesser developed nations are enduring.

i also wanted to say in india there has been mass infantcide since the pandemic of baby girls because girls are expensive and boys are considered more of an asset. babies are being abandoned and left on the side of the road. a baby girl infant was found covered in ants being eaten alive. they just had to do an investigation in a certain city in india because for three months no baby girl was born.

I brush all these things and more under the carpet because they are beyond my control and my abilities to fix, simply knowing the basics of what's going on is more than enough for me, learning the details is just another load of stress that I don't need.

@Johnblackthorn is it better to know or be ignorant to these things? and could you explain your answer

@DeluxedEdition it's always better to know, imagine me suddenly being in charge of an adoption agency and not knowing, I'd change nothing and carry on as normal, but I do know so maybe I could pair unwanted babies with loving parents,I'd obviously need to streamline the whole system to make a difference and it would probably only be a small difference, but it would be one step in the right direction.
