I Hate Religious Fanatics That Push Their Views On Others

I have a Christian friend who is totally against abortion. She said abortion is murder which should be tolerated but when I asked about the violence in Bible she simply replied, violence is fair if it's for the promised land. Wtf.

It is commonly misunderstood that the ten commandments includes thou shalt not kill, but this is a perversions of it, it is thou shalt not murder.

There is a time to kill, and that is also stated in the Bible.

Killing a faultless unborn child however is murder to be certain.

God knew the ones in that promised Land were wicked and had judged them already, it was his command to kill this wicked people.

@Fernie we agree on many things my friend, but I know we do not agree on all of them
Fernie · F
@th3r0n Of course not. I will never agree with any of this nonsense
th3r0n · 41-45, M
@Fernie I pray that changes. I know surely that I am not perfect, but I have witnessed the power of God, and that is no metaphor.

@Fernie you should know me well enough to know that I would not lie. I have my faults, but lying is not on the list.

When going to a place that was haunted, which I had thought was a false rumor, a beloved one became possessed by a demon. I cast out that demon in the name of Jesus and it went. There is true power in the name of Jesus

@th3r0n how ridiculous...now, as usual, you're like a dog with a bone because I don't buy this crap for one second...you all just can't bear it...I wish you could know how empty and asinine your words are to me.

How are you on faultless school kids being murdered and the only thing that evangelicals can offer is thoughts and prayers? Why can't they offer only thoughts and prayers in the instance of a 12 year old girl raped by her 'father' and consequently pregnant? Why is she then persecuted by the 'pro lifers' who really mean life in Utero? Where are her advocates?
th3r0n · 41-45, M
@HerKing I would surely be her advocate.

In cases of rape, there should be provided all expenses including babysitting, and if the rapist has money it should be taken from him, but if not the state should provide.

What if she doesn't want to go through 9 months of pregnancy and having at least the next eighteen having a child? What if she didn't want children?

You are a man, what possible empathy can you have with that scenario?

@HerKing If Oklahoma state GOP Rep. George Faught has his way, rape will be on the path to being legal in the state. At least that’s what rapists are hoping for after Faught made a frightening statement on the subject during a debate on House Bill 1549, which restricts abortion.

Democratic Rep. Cory Williams masterfully cornered Faught during the hearing by asking him if he believes rape and incest are the “will of God” since the legislation has no exceptions for either, meaning women would be forced to give birth to their rapist’s baby.

Faught’s reply is absolutely appalling and demonstrates once again why women should never vote for Republicans, especially Republicans who want to base our laws on the Bible.
“Well, you know, if you read the Bible, there’s actually a couple circumstances where that happened,” Faught said. “The Lord uses all circumstances. I mean, you can go down that path, but it’s a reality unfortunately.”
Faught literally just used the Bible to justify rape. And then he used it to justify incest.
th3r0n · 41-45, M
@HerKing she is not required even now to keep the child after it is born, and I believe that executing rapists is key to eliminating that issue.

Perhaps burning them alive if they kill the one they raped also, to deter them doing that to avoid capture.

Some who I love deeply have been raped, though you would not have known that if I did not tell you.
HerKing · 61-69, M
@Fernie I until recently worked in the same department as a young woman from OK and she said she got out because of such backward thinking.
Fernie · F
@th3r0n you earned this

Isn't what I said.
What if she doesn't want to go through 9 months of pregnancy/ What if she didn't want children?

and I believe that executing rapists is key to eliminating that issue.

How will that stop her being raped in the first place?
Fernie · F
@HerKing it is terrifying...these are the people who want to run everything

What do you want, a cookie? Why would a woman being raped prevent her being loved deeply?
th3r0n · 41-45, M
@Fernie God has often taken what was meant for evil and used it for good.

One example, Joseph was sold into slavery by his brothers, God used this to lead to him becoming a son to pharoah and even saving his people by offering them food in a time of great trouble.

It does not justify the evil done that God uses the situation it lead to, but many children even conceived in rape became a blessing, though the rapist should still have been killed.
HerKing · 61-69, M
@th3r0n
but many children even conceived in rape became a blessing,

But that neatly swerves the fact you don't wish her the choice in making the decision to give birth in the first place. It would be too polite to say you're merely patronising.
th3r0n · 41-45, M
@HerKing murder was never supposed to be an acceptable choice, only those devoid of morals even consider it a choice
HerKing · 61-69, M
@th3r0n

Again you can't answer the question.. you think it is morally defensible to force a 12 year old child to go through pregnancy after rape and give birth to a child she didn't want, need or be able to cope with the trauma of the conception because you find it unacceptable based on your blind faith in a book that was written by people at least 30 years after the death of a man in the middle east?

YOU are evil.
th3r0n · 41-45, M
@HerKing you're defending murder...and calling me evil...anyone who isn't totally sick can see where the evil lies here...

If she is not evil, she will not wish to murder either.
HerKing · 61-69, M
@th3r0n You're not only evil, you're a disgusting apologist for rapists. Essentially you're saying she (a child) must carry an unwanted baby because YOU want her to, even though you have absolutely no idea what the trauma or rape or pregnancy from same would be. Please don't call yourself a Christian, you're revolting.
th3r0n · 41-45, M
@HerKing you have no idea what good is or what holy is, nor what a follower of Christ is. You're making excuses for murder, and I clearly stated that rapists should be executed.
HerKing · 61-69, M
@th3r0n My mother was a Christian until her death. She never imposed her faith on me or my brothers, ever. She never took the moral high ground and she never ever decided she was the arbiter of anyone else's morals.

Rapists should be executed, but they're not rapists until they rape. What do you suggest to the 12 year old girl who is raped and made pregnant? I'm not excusing murder (which is a statute in law), I'm defending abortion in certain circumstances which is also a statute in law.
