I Hated High School

I enjoyed the schoolwork but I hated the social aspect! I had a few friends, some of whom I've still friends with today. But most of the other kids were just so two-faced! A lot of them would pretend to like you and be your friend just because you were friends with one of their friends but most of them really weren't good at pretending.

I would always try to be nice with them or give them the benefit of the doubt even if they obviously didn't like me for whatever reason but I would much rather they simply be honest and tell me they don't like me. Some kids were real jerks to me in high school but those ones I had a little more respect for because at least they were honest about not liking me for whatever reason.

I really do try to be nice with everyone but I understand why I might not be likable. I'm not trying to make myself out to be this wonderful person who everyone should like, I'm only saying I wish everyone didn't have to be so fake in school.
