I Have Had a Bad Day
Today was very productive and very triggering.
I worked on several projects but the biggest one I tackled was cleaning out my son's room. There have been storage bins piled high for a couple years in there, since I packed him up and moved him back from school. I was going to leave papers and some things for him to sort through but given that it's been a couple years, I'd rather it got done. So that means, I had to look through everything and sort for trash, shredding, etc. I saw lots of papers I never wanted to see, found some things I never wanted to find. It's all old crap, thankfully, but it was triggering going through it all and feeling the grief and pain of all that's happened all over again. I can see why he couldn't or wouldn't sort it all. It was traumatizing to me.
I have a stack of trash and the dumpsters are overflowing at my apartment. I can't wait to get everything out of here.
I'm going to Sage the place when it's all gone.
