I Am Expressive

In my depth
I am different.
I sit quietly
But inside my ocean runs very deep
There is an entire world in me
No one sees
And I long to be seen.
People hurt what they can’t understand
So I have to stand alone.
Life is lonely
When anything you say doesn’t seem to matter.
So I stopped talking
And I’m quiet
And deep.
An inner world of colors and songs and poetry
My depth is drowning me.
