I like railways too and travelling by train. My Dad used to work in the workshops at our local railway works in Doncaster when I was a child. I remember the open days when crowds used to come to see the different locomotives.

@LiliMountainGirl I've never quite understood jazz music, learnt classical piano myself, and certainly can't play jazz. I like music with a tune, so nothing too way out. I also can play piano by ear. If you'd like to message at any point that would be ok, fine though if not.

I grew up on the railway! My Dadcu was a stationmaster. I grew up on the platform and going in the cab with drivers. End of the day, no one knew where I was! But someone always brought me home! @soar2newhighs
I rode in a cab of a freight train locomotive, went to Albany NY from NYC, then returned in the cab of another Locomotive from Albany to NYC. What an experience!
