I Have An Update

My grandma in law had an anuerism she’s 80. It doesn’t look good. Spending time with her in that state made me feel closer to life. It’s odd. She couldn’t move at will much less speak. Think of it as a stroke. She could hear me, but she has a DNR... and her condition is worsening. I knew she could hear me because I would ask her to move her hand if she could. But she had zero facial expression. She’s trapped in her body. Her mouth wide open. Unable to close it. She needs surgery but her own dnr says no surgery. She was ready to go. Only time will tell. I wish I could check on her now. :-(
I don’t understand why I’m wondering if she’ll live thru the night. I don’t understand why it matters to me so much either. She’s my nieces grandma.
