I Sometimes Feel Like a Stranger In a Strange Land

I sometimes find it hard to connect to those around me and understand why they do what they do. I have tried to understand but all attempts make me more confused.

I don’t understand the need for people to comment or complain about things they have no control over (ie other people’s driving and weight). I don’t get why they need to make such comments. I just don’t get it.

Another thing I can’t understand is why people show shame over something natural that is somehow shameful. I always like to speak my mind without a filter but see no point in walking on eggshells around others. It just doesn’t make sense and I don’t think I’ll ever get it.

well its good you are aware some things we can't change
as to what we say and when
that comes with maturity ,and that comes with experience and time
Its not always wise to wade in ,and its sure not wise to see injustice and stay silent (problem is ,most have got a lot to say ,but they do little to be part of the solution ,so they are part of the problem )
I say I chose my battles more wisely
Most of the time you can help change hearts by how you live ,and by doing,
and faster ,then with all the words you will ever say

Driving and weight can be controlled but I get what you're saying

@ZenKitzune I meant by the people making a comment about other people’s weight and driving. Those making the comment has no control about what the stranger is doing so I see no point in complaining about it. Especially since all the complaining I have heard is about complete strangers.

@whitewolfgirl77 right, you can only control your own thoughts and actions. People don't realise that though.
