My first step

@DeWayfarer Still new to this but I’ve been doing my research on power supplies. I’ve been holding off on my PSU and GPU until I know what CPU I’m going to get due to the demand of parts. But ideally I’m aiming for 750 watts. And the PSU I’m eyeing will have 7 peripheral leads.

@SW-User often the case and PSU come together. And why I asked. Good choice though on keeping it separate. Those that come with the case are low powered and cheap in design. Often only 4, 5 with MB, peripheral leads.

@nonsensiclesnail that’s insane :/ I’ve heard it’s been a toss up for people, either they get it at normal rates or it takes forever. I hope your processor gets there soon!

@canusernamebemyusername yeah I’ve seen some heat sinks look pretty haphazardly but I’d be scared too lol

@SW-User I built one with my first AIO cooler and it just had thumbscrews to tighten down. That one was easy. It was a corsair cooler.

@PrincessVelvet Not sure, things go on sale all the time and due to my responsibilities it’ll be a while before I get all of the necessary hardware. I estimate 1k to 1.5k.
