I Believe In the Law of Attraction
MY Wedding Ring... 2/27/13-UPDATE-as it turns out the Costco in California is being sued. NOT MY COSTCO. anyway, last night i went in for my weekly dose of hotdog and I wandered over ok, I sauntered over to the jewelry counter and what do you know? My ring is still there! So, I said to myself, it is now or never. I called over an employee to let me try on the ring. BUT he was not allowed to open the case as it has security on it ...so over came the manager.
I apologized profusely for bothering him, knowing i didn't have the money (right then) to buy the ring.
He said "ma'am" (not because i am old mind you) he said this is what I am here for. He pulled out the ring and said " I would put this on your finger but I made the mistake of doing that once" (lol)
i just knew it.I just knew it. IT FIT!!!! PERFECTLY. my hand went over my mouth and i just stared at this perfect ring. i thanked him and gave it back but not without dreaming it was mine.
2/26/13-UPDATE: one of my friends told me that Tiffany is suing Costco for fake Tiffany rings. So I went to the store and sure enough, my ring has been removed! BUT I have pictures...and I am not going to stop believing in this ring.
I am the designated Costco shopper for the office. I am hooked on 3 areas of the store. First, the book section, secondly the cosmetics and thirdly, the hotdogs and raspberry tea. I am from Cincinnati where the greatest hot dogs in the world (Kahn’s) come from, but Costco ranks second.
The one place I stay away from is the jewelry counter. Why? I can’t afford anything they sell I am sure. One day I was on my usual jaunt through Costco when my cart mysteriously steered to the jewelry counter. Not to just any counter but the wedding rings. I honestly thought to myself, I must be crazy. I am nowhere near getting married much less able to afford anything there.
I looked down and there was the most magnificent diamond ring I have ever seen. Every trip to Costco now begins with visitation to “my” wedding ring. I would tell everyone standing there that ring was MY ring. “Wouldn’t you rather have this ring? The stone is bigger” Nope. This is the ring. What is weird is I wear yellow gold and this ring is platinum. It is calling my name big time.
I finally got up the nerve to ask the cashier if I could take a picture of this ring. She said to me “Congratulations! When are you getting married?” I said I am not. I just want the ring. So I took the pics, I look at it every day, I have shown it to my friends and family hoping for a miracle (or two). I know this sounds crazy but I am going to get up the nerve and try it on during my next visit.
Here is my pic of the ring with all the specifications in case someone else buys it.
