I Like My Job
Interesting night so far.
I'm getting a lot of comments on my hair.
"I like your hair. It's [i]funky[/i]," a guest told me.
Huh. Is that a good thing?
I'm not liking the masks because people can't hear me or see that I'm smiling. People are cooler to me when I smile. One guest kept looking back at me as if I'd grown antlers or something. (maybe it's my hair)
A guy was shadow boxing in the elevator. I watched on the cameras till he came up to the desk.
"I need to know where B Hwy is," he said.
It's right in front of the hotel.
"I'm finna mess someone up."
Yeah, great. It's right there. Right where I'm pointing.
"So where is it?"
Right there.
He ran off, then circled back towards the desk.
"Oh yeah. Where's the hand sanitizer?"
Ha! Of course. Mess someone up, but not with germy hands, man.
"Wow...your hair got long," coworker said.
Yeah. I'll get a haircut eventually.
"..." she said. She speaks judgy silence masterfully. I love it.
