Anyone know how to play Minecraft?

I just bought it for my phone but I don't know what I'm doing. I'm wondering around then it go's dark and then these creepy monsters come out and throw things at me

I thought this was a kids game and meant to be easy

@SirenCalledLuce Yes but it has a limitless potential, legos are limited to rules of physics, no adventures nothing new to discover, no ridiculous moments, it's your problem that you can't see anything more in it.
