@carolinehugz Oh, yes. I live in Kent, so know south east England fairly well. I do like the west: Hereford, Worcester area. Not keen on Liverpool, which I find unfriendly. Newcastle I don't know and I am looking forward to exploring up there - and Norfolk. I've never been to Norfolk in my life. Maybe go back to Scotland - Edinburgh for architecture, beauty and history, Glasgow for the sheer vitality of the place and Dundee for the setting and the friendly people.
@OnlyRhonda That's quite a list so might spot you in some of them if we did the same. Would love to go back to Scotland and last time I almost got sunburn which I hear is rare.
@carolinehugz I love to get myself lost in new places. Park the car and walk, talk to local people, see the sights off the tourist track. Scotland: I found Edinburgh fascinating and Dundee weird! Such a beautiful river front with the historic ships and such poverty only a mile or so away, yet with more parks per acre than anywhere else in the country except Glasgow. Camperdown Park is a must!
