I Hate To Waste Food

When you go for a coffee or a meal out at any retail outlet ask them what they do with their unsold sandwiches etc at the end of the day .If they say it goes in the bin ask them why their not supporting charities .Then walk out and go some where that does support charities , and don't waste good food that could be feeding the needy . It is the only way these greedy companies will listen is if their losing custom .

I agree but ill bet it has to do with some liability BS - There is a store called Whole Foods Access near me and they are jokenly called Whole Paycheck because things are so expensive. One day I bought some soup and it was almost closing time and I said to lady who is cleaning up in the soup and salad deli area what do they do with all this she told me flat out they throw it away that's a sin in my opinion. This world has gotten so afraid of lawsuits that they will not help people at all My suggestion would be just sell it to the charity for one dollar.

I'm sure they take it home! I'm talking about the employees. Why would they throw away perfectly good food?

@RadiantRuby Because they do .3 of the biggest coffee shop retailers have just admitted on bbc watchdog that they throw all their excess food in the bin at the end of the day .They are caffe nero ,starbucks and costa its disgusting it could feed starving people .
