I Have a Problem

Apparently brushing twice a day, and flossing and using mouthwash daily isn't enough. I admit i eat enough junk and always have but I'd never had more than 3 cavities until 2 years ago. I feel like I get them so easily now. I don't feel like my teeth are gonna last me until old age 😕😥

I feel ya :\ I went to the dentist in January to find out I have 6 cavities, one needing a root canal.. I still haven't done anything about them though, other than change my diet and tooth paste.. I heard rebuilding tooth enamel was possible (Book: Cure Tooth Decay) so I'm trying it out... If it works, I get to keep my life savings, if it doesn't, I lose it... so might as well try it, right

@Youni19 It is completely possible to regrow tooth enamel. Sensodyne Repair and Protect is made of some high tech nano bioglass that puts a thin coating of medical grade glass around your teeth as an artificial enamel. It's actually pretty cool. Read about the science of it on The Beauty Brains years ago.

You probably need more fluoride. Try buying a high fluoride rinse or toothpaste. Don't listen to the quacks, it's completely harmless and good for your teeth. You might not be getting enough from tap water and toothpaste alone. Colgate makes a high fluoride toothpaste. It's kind of expensive but a lot cheaper than going to the dentist. :P Good work flossing so regularly. If where you live allows independent dental hygienists you can see those cheaper than going to a place with dentists and hygienists.

Dentist exist for a reason. Teeth are not designed to live forever. thats why we use to have space for wisdom teeth and had 3 rows of teeth.

see a dentist .

@JoshuaCo19: i completely understand what dentists are for. I got my wisdom teeth removed. No room for them to grow properly. Last went to the dentist in February. Thanks

Do you brush directly after eating?
iamnikki · 31-35, F
@Jackaloftheazuresand: dry mouth probably. Its a new problem thats been worsening and i dont know why. I drink plenty of water and am not dehydrated.
aqualovecrystal · 26-30, F
@iamnikki Dry mouth is easy to fix with Biotene or other drug store dry mouth treatments. They are worth the money. Sugar free gum and hard candy helps too.
