I Celebrate The Mundane
In a weird way I do, because it’s showing me I can still manage my affairs in the midst of my illness. Everything fatigues me, including these tasks as I struggle to remain present, to concentrate on what I’m doing, what I need to say and accomplish. It’s unfortunate that “chemo brain” is a real thing.
I cleared up my issue with my employment insurance claim as my employer kept paying me. (Yay me!) Sounds like a good problem to have but in the end I’m the one that’s going to pay. Reality is though, finances come second when I’m fighting for my life.
