I Want to Quit Drinking

So in this mystical lonely world, however I tend to fill in this loneliness but I tend to drink to forget about the rough , hardworking and lonely days. But I realised that if I am not drinking at all I feel healthier. I want to quit alcohol. So I could think better, live healthy and move on with a safer life.

@ticklerguy hopefully :)
I used to own a couple of bars, I know all about drinking. One day I had a local guy come up to me and tell me he was happy to help me out of the gutter the previous evening, and I realized I had no memory of that event at all. I could have died that day if not for some savior, and it was that day I decided to quit drinking.

Drinking doesn't make anything better, it just sucks money from your wallet and makes time pass quicker. It is not too late to switch gears, dump the rest of what you have down the toilet, toss the bottles, and go buy fruit juice instead. After a few weeks, sign up at a gym and start working out, your life will turn around quickly.

@UreBesFrend trust me I have been drinking since a while and I suck now. I don't feel healthier or smarter. However I have decided to quit alcohol completely and start with a gym or something better in life. Instead of wasting money I could start investment or something much better. You can tell me about your trick on avoiding the drinking. :)
I switched to drinking carbonated water, it is just water with bubbles in it, and I just lost any interest in alcohol, it wasn't hard for me, but some people seem to struggle. You just have to set your mind to controlling it and be confident in your ability to do so.

@UreBesFrend I have mostly lost interest in many of the alcohol if drinking and even though I drink alcohol I don't tend to like it sometimes. It's my state of mind and my current life which makes me do it. Otherwise trust me I can ignore alcohol like a bitch 🤣 I like water and some healthy product suitable with milk.

I quit drinking at one point, because I didn't didn't like how I was using it for years to cope with problems. Went cold turkey for the later half of university and for a few years afterwards. Now I just drink a glass or two now and then, or use a little wine in cooking.

It's really hard at first. But stick with it. A good friend of mine who is a former alcoholic always recommends not to eat anything sweet either to prevent sugar induced alcohol cravings... and don't let anyone give you crap for quitting!

Anyway, Do what's right for you. And Good luck!🤗

@Scribbles aww thanks honey. I believe the fact of sugary stuff because it tempts the body to drink. My reasons for drinking are however different but I just want to cut it off because it is effective to the body.
