I get on little obsessive kicks, and my current one is motivational videos, which includes watching US Navy SEALS training videos and reading about their leadership. Great read so far.
I’m finishing up a Stephen King short story book. I actually don’t remember the name. I tried to borrow Catcher in the Rye from the library but they didn’t have it or it was out. I never read it and recently saw a movie about JD Salinger and him writing it.
@4thdimensiondream Catcher in the Rye is one of my favorite books. It is on the top of banned books lists. When I've re-read it as an adult, I can't quite figure out what all the hubbub is about. I've heard and seen worse in movies.
Wow I didn’t know it was controversial. I knew it had a dark side, as he was traumatized from the war and personal issues. This makes me want to read it even more. Thanks!
@4thdimensiondream you're welcome! It's very controversial but I've never quite understood why. I read it in high school and it didn't even register as shocking. I bet you can find it on Amazon for pennies, being so well-known.
