I Don"t Know
I met a man while my divorce is dragging on. My stepfather introduced us. This guy is soooo put together in soooo many ways compared to my ex it’s crazy! Organized kinda ocd like me... he was in the military and fixed aviation for military Air Force. Currently he’s using his engineering degree at my stepfather’s job to do maintence on machinarey and whatnot.
I’ve heard he likes to drink from multiple ppl.
My ex was a hardcore addict and cannot see his children unless it’s at the Family Access Center where I live (supervised in other words and no independent care).
My stepdad has told me this guy smelled like alcohol at work today. My stepfather is an alcoholic where it has actually affected his job and family in the past, I ended up in foster care after witnessing much domestic violence and he and my mom did drugs back then as well.
I’m terrified of making a mistake. This guy is SO Put together compared to what I have been used to. Like he cleans his house and has plants and s cat. My ex couldn’t function caring for his own children!
My brain is just spinning tonight. I want goodtnings. Baby steps and going slow.
