Is a televised NFL game the place to push social issues?

I may seem insensitive but due to the Pandemic, we have missed a lot of recreation. I turned on Thursday Night Football only to find it filled with social issues. Sorry but the news has been filled with these stories and I just wanted to sit back and enjoy a game for once. What do you think?
