I Am An Arab

I always found the Arab beauty standards (and other world standards) to be restrictive and harmful. A big example is the skin tone, I met a few women who were passed over for marriages just because they were a shade darker than what the prospective groom was comfortable with.

Wow. That’s so superficial isn’t it?
When you’re talking about someone to share life with, it’s really sad that for some it’s because of something as silly as skin tone. If someone is a beautiful person, why does that matter? Shocked.
@Oneofthestormboys Unfortunately people still value solely on looks.

@Nawad they’re not likely to have fulfilling lives then. Looks fade over time.
@Oneofthestormboys It’s a fact that many choose to ignore. The majority just live in the moment.
