I Wish I Was In a Great Relationship

I feel like a outcast for not wanting a family. I feel bad for my parents, they always wanted to be grandparents and deserve so, and that’s what makes me want to try for a family. I’m just too shallow, insecure, and self centered.

Not necessarily. Maybe you're self aware, know your own shortcomings, and don't wish to inflict them on an innocent child.
That's why my wife and I didn't have children.

It's your life. If you want or don't want kids, that is your choice. Don't let someone decide for you. Don't let them shame you. My parents feel the same way. It upsets them probably to no end. My parents just want me happy. It is probably hard for them to accept, but that is just the way it is. Raising children is a huge responsibility.
