I Love Aladdin

I love Aladdin, but the cultural inaccuracy that the movie brings is scary. Jasmine is sexualised, and Aladdin is a thief. However, the characters are still good and if I ever cosplay as a character, I'll probably have a more culturally accurate costume than the official ones. I might cosplay as Fem!Aladdin; I love the idea of it!

This was my favorite Disney movie. Got the piano music for it and everything.

@shaelan: Really? That's pretty cool! The piano is such an amazing instrument, I wish I could play it!

@Wantsomethingtostoptheboredom: Oh yes, really. Something about the mysticisms in the far east has always drawn me. As for the piano, it really is an expressive instrument. Paired with synthesis it becomes ever-more versatile, though I wish they both were easier to tune.

@shaelan: It seems impossible to tune a piano! I used to play the violin and I was always too scared to try and tune the instrument by myself because I thought I'd break a string, so I always got my teacher to do it.

@Wantsomethingtostoptheboredom: No way! I used to play the violin too. Long ago when I was 4, or something... Much easier playing a violin sound on a synthesizer, just nowhere near as expressive.

@shaelan: Strangely, I've never of a synthesizer! Could you tell me what it is?
shaelan · 41-45, M
@Wantsomethingtostoptheboredom: There's many types. Most simply there are electronic pianos whose sound can be made to sound like another instrument. For example, a xylophone, or pipe organ. Another type are favored by the producers of most popular music (dance music, etc) who use them to make those unusual sounds heard in the songs - though those are also made by computer programs sometimes too, or both. You can check out synthesizer in wikipedia:
