Endings Make Me Feel Weird
What triggered me to type this down might seem silly but well it's considered an ending too. I was simply playing the only game I really enjoy which is Euro Truck Simulator 2 and today I had an important event with my group where the admins of the online section of the game let us have our own server for a certain amount of time and we invited several groups to join us from many places, we had a group from Philippines for example and I don't know what the other groups were from but anyway after we finished the trip and parked so the photographers do their job etc I decided to wait for the very end because I got distracted with the free camera and decided to chase an air balloon lol (it just caught my attention) but yea after that when everyone pretty much left it got all quiet and there were only like 20 people left out of like 200. And while I was driving around I found some people from another group celebrating by drifting around along woth some members of my group and I joined them for a bit then I left.
Here a pic so you get an idea of what I'm talking about (if there's a lot of space all groups park in the same area but since the city we finished the event in was small every group parked in a specific area)
Ok back to the main topic. The feeling I get with endings is kinda cool at first but sucks after a bit. It reminded specifically of last days of most of my school years specially primary and middle school I used to feel that I'm badass for staying to the very end while I should leave lol and a bit later after 6th grade (2004 - 2005) camera phones started showing up and kids would stay after the last exam is over to get their pics taken and stuff. I still remember the excitement of these days and getting too excited for summer or winter break. I kinda enjoyed seeing my school so empty, it's a feeling mixed with being happy that something is over but at the same time wish it lasted longer you know what I mean?
I always felt the same about serieses or even movies I hate when they end. Just yesterday I finished the last season of Peaky Blinders and that same feeling hit me for a bit.
It's even portrayed in movies, Titanic for example the very last scene of the ship sinking where it was all said and all done and the end was inevitable and the guys playing the violins, happy music would just not work with any ending.
Another example would be the ending of EP back in 2016. Honestly I wasn't there in the last few hours but I always compared it to the Titanic sinking.
Again the same feeling happens when summer ends or even winter (I am not a fan of winter but when it's suddenly gone and summer starts I take my time to adjust).
I think if endings made me feel good I'd be worried right? Just agree with me if you've read so far lol
