I Have Morals And Values That Are Important To Me

I once told someone that I had a certain moral code I followed, and he asked, 'what is that?' Completely oblivious as to what I was talking about as though the word 'moral' had flown completely over his head. My moral values are my beliefs about what is important in my life. Some values allude to how I should act, i.e. be honest, unselfish in my dealings with others, self disciplined, while other values refer to what I want to accomplish or obtain in life such as security, family, friendship. Because a person cannot 'have it all' or 'be all things,' priorities must be set and choices made.
