I'm Just Very Confused

I just noticed that my parents have 4 bottles of Muscadine Wine and on the label it says "for the bottle 10% of alcohol but then I happened to have seen a bottle of vanilla that is used for cooking and everything else uses of all ages and it has 30% of alcohol. What is going on with our government? Giving kids more alcohol than the adults who actually drink a drink under the category of alcohol.

Normally you don't drink vanilla extract out of a bottle. You put a teaspoon of it into your cookie dough.

@nemo69 Sailors who are alcoholics have been known to drink a couple of bottles of listerine a day or distill alcohol from shoe polish. Drinking a bottle of vanilla extract isn't going to do much, the largest bottle of vanilla extract is 12 ounces.
