I Don't Know How to Be In a Relationship

I'm not sure what to look for in a relationship. Cuddling with someone I can share everything with and really connect with on an emotional and intellectual level seems amazing, but I'm also afraid I'd feel smothered very quickly.

And when I interact with people, I noticed I'm quite easily satisfied. Just a good conversation can make me very happy too.

So I'm not sure what the ideal balance would be. Am I looking for romance, physical contact, or just a good friend? And should it be long term or am I happy with anyone I feel a connection with and is it OK if they come and go? Figuring that out would help a great deal with finding my soulmate.

It's better to establish a friendship with someone & see where that goes. Sometimes the magnetic sparks aren't apparent in the beginning until you get to know one another first. It's the type of person they are inside is what you'll fall in love with, so the best way to to get to know someone is through friendship first. Enjoy the easy conversation, the laughter & sharing yourselves with each other. Once you're comfortable with that, then the physical intimacy falls into place.
