I Absolutely Love My Kids

Got a call from my daughter this evening, she was crying and telling me she has been cramping and started spotting today. I convince her to get to a hospital so we could make sure the baby was okay. I jump in my car and drive three hours to get to the hospital. Thankfully both her and the baby are fine, it turned out to be a UTI. They pushed antibiotics and other fluids thru IV and she is already feeling better.

Its now 2:00 am and we are getting to leave. I will get her home safely, get back in my car and drive three hours to get back home.

Heres hoping the 5 hour energy and the "stay awake" pills I got at the truck stop will do its job.

I am pleased to hear that your daughter and the baby are both fine and that it was just an infection which antibiotics will sort out.

I will pray for your safety now. Get some good sleep when you get home and come back and tell us how you are doing later my friend :)

Lol, Just as long as you get some sleep. Hey, I have a childish silly idea. Get yourself some glasses and stick eyes on them and then sit down and shut your eyes. I don't think that it would work but it would give people a laugh. :)

STOP FOR COFFEE if needed :O And if you smoke cigarettes will help keep you alert at the wheel. It worked for me when I drove big trucks for 14 years!!! DRIVE ALL NIGHT!!!!

My wife had that with out first child and you're right, it's so scary. Oh, I'd suggest the super caffeinated coffee from a Pilot truck stop..lol

PILOT TRUCK STOPS went to them all over the USA!!!!! GREAT COFFEE :O

Thank goodness it was caught early. Could have turned into a much longer stay on the IV. Apparently the "stay awake" aids did what they needed to do. Which we are all very thankful for! :-)

I was, I got home at 5:00 am. Gonna be on caffeine overload by lunch
