@Winterwanderer: I'm afraid I don't. I know some Spanish and Italian. And a couple others, but not Swedish.

How do you learn your languages?? I'm trying to find better ways to do it.

@Winterwanderer: The Duolingo app is nice. I use a couple other apps from the App Store, travel phrases apps, and got to test myself. I like being able to test myself and see the improvements along the way.

Yeah, I've been using duolingo recently, but I've also been using this new app called Memrise, I like it a lot! And my foreign friends help me when they can tambien.

I don't know how I would test myself as you said.

@Winterwanderer: They usually have quizzes on them installed.

I've just spoken the words aloud and pay careful attention to how it sounds as I'm saying it. It helps to put the energy in, to feel what you're saying. At least for me it does. But I also like to take notes along the way. It really varies for each person. But I try to feel what I speak.

Yeah, I definitely get that, I'm trying to find movies in Swedish as well so I can just get a good ear for it as well, imitating it as I hear it, being able to understand more as I go on.

@Winterwanderer: I've wanted to take some cultural classes/ meet ups but there aren't any close by. And of course nothing beats going to Spain or Italy. It's on my to do list... At the very bottom, lol.

Hahah, yeah I hear that, I'm not sure whether any schools near me have Swedish classes, but I might travel there soon enough! Use my language skills & gain some new ones

@Winterwanderer: That's a good plan. I would really love the chance to travel more in the future. Spain and Italy are at the top of the list.

I hope you find more resources along the way that'll help you in your understanding of Swedish.

I know YouTube offers random international movies, but I will caution against some...interesting ones that you may run into. If you catch my drift🙃 So with that happy learning, lol.

I don't catch your drift! I've never heard of these... interesting ones.

Spain & Italy are definitely on my list, but my list is like a blob, not a pyramid or bullet point.
