I Love To Go To The Salon

I love going to the salon, I prefer it to the barbershop because even though there are typically more people there I feel more privacy since there is not a group of people sitting in front of me watching me, like in most barbershops.
Which do you prefer barbershops or salons, and this question goes out to both guys and girls.
