I Hate People Who Make You Feel Special And Then Leave

I don't know why I remember a few specific adults that I just loved above all others when I was little. Somehow they made me feel very special and important. I missed them so much when I didn't see them anymore.
I wonder what it was exactly that they would do or say that made me feel so special? Wish I knew.
