I Hate Hypocrites
I want to write a letter to my mom in laws pastor and give my two cents.
She's so Christian preaching god first, followed by family, and finally followed by work...
She does not forgive. She thinks she's right above everyone else, and while my husband waits for his restrictions to lift so my stepdaughter can live with him while we are temporarily separated, my mother in law acts like my stepdaughter's mom. Now that I got my own place, I wanted every other weekend visits to resume with a child I've raised 6 years. Grandma took her out of town with her. She's always favored this grandchild above all others since my sister in law refuses to let her girls spend time with grandma except for a few times a year. It really disgusts me. How can you say you love all your grandkids, yet you keep this one from spending time with her siblings and me? She started disliking me when I talked to my husband about putting our feet down and US being the parents to all our children; no more grandma picking private Christian school. No more grandma re-routing bus routes for my stepdaughter to get off at her house and spending three nights a week with her. My stepdaughters lived with her since November and when her bio mom took her to California for two weeks grandma has the audacity to tell my child, "I don't get you long enough."
Part of why I decided to separate and almost divorce was because my husband has trouble standing up to her. When he tries (he's still the parent and the one to make all decisions even with social services putting restrictions on time unsupervised with his kids until he went to treatment) his mom gets super angry and argues with him. Now that my almost 8 year old has been living with her she stopped wanting to see my other kids. It's quite ridiculous.
