I always wished I would've had parents who acted like actual parents growing up.

Yes... They need to teach about rules and boundaries, While at the same time allowing exploring of your limits and being supportive at the same time...I think it's a tough gig and not all are up to it

@Isthisit she was a teen parent. I'm sure it was hard. I can forgive her early issues. Her later ones are the ones that bother me.

@boklenholley7 my sister had him in her teens as well. They sound so much the same. I know your mum would feel really bad about stuff it would've been hard for her- I'm sure she loves you so much.
