I Know Loss
Loss & Sorrow
by: Rob Paquin
And when at last my mind goes still, you're the only thing that's left
My mind is stone, but you're the drill. My heart is still bereft
The tears of sorrow drown my soul, I still can feel the pull
I hear your voice in the blackest hole, I see your face in full
I hear the dying screams inside. A thought I can't erase
And all the while I wish to die, and laugh with the straightest face.
I say I'm happy, that it's okay. Yet nothing is the same
My dreams I fear as I waste away, where again you'll call my name.
