I Am Not Romantic

I used to be very romantic, very affectionate, considerate, caring and kind...but, due to years of circumstances, and in order to survive, I had to harden my heart, swallow my tears (what a GREAT song!!)...so now, I am NOT romantic, I don't give a shit, I don't care..I've been forced into "survival mode"...besides, the heart is stupid and lame...

Sounds much like bitterness, a stubborn blister that just wont go away. I too can relate to feeling hardened over the years.

But I still hope.

bitterness? probably..at my age, all hope is lost...at your age, you still have time...don't waste it..it'll pass you faster than a speeding bullet..
