I Am Very Spritual

The truth is as much as I scream and rail against it I believe there is a higher power and that it is leading me, that it cares about me, that it thinks I am important.
Some will scoff, let them.
I don't expect understanding
I don't expect acceptance of this idea
But no longer can deny its existence
I cannot battle against this thought:
Though it seems foolish and arrogant
That this power thinks about me
Me?
And it blows my little finite mind

@DragonFruit I honestly hope that He will, but I am not changing into a pusher of religon, these are my thoughts alone.

@SW-User I’m not real religious either (as you might have guessed).

@DragonFruit Either was Jesus, he had more "bad" things to say about religion than he did about "sinners". I find it a bit ironic that so many try to make people into what they believe they should be when Jesus never did. He presented His ideas and people were free to accept or reject them.
Strange religion that neither knows nor cares what the person they say they follow taught.

This was me thinking out loud and hope it did not come out preaching as that was not my intention. Peace.

@SW-User A popular comedian was talking about “religious fundamentalists”, and said that they tended to overlook what he considered one of the basic fundamentals....”Love thy neighbor”. I think too many get wrapped up in specific Bible passages to see that we need to put basic principles into action in day-to-day life.

@DragonFruit Agree completely, they are pretty useless as spoke people for religion.
I see it on social media a lot they write long stories about how they are Christians and all then they go on to call names and treat anyone who does not share their political opinions badly. And politics, I would imagine it is the least on the list of what a religious person would be concerned about, but then I do not understand a lot.
Sorta like saying: God loves you you complete waste of breath, you should probably die!
What is focused on then? Love or the cruelty at the end?
