Futah......
[b]Futah[/b] -- [i]finger flick, performed with the middle finger and thumb; the word one utters while finger-flicking[/i].
This is a word made up by one of my sisters when she was a kid.** Not sure how she came up with the word, but it seemed to fit the gesture. She'd go around saying "futah" when she finger-flicked. No one questioned it.
**Technically, my sister didn't invent the word, only its usage in the described manner. There is a traditional Yemeni garment worn by men called futah, but it's highly doubtful she had ever heard of it.
