I Wear a Kilt

A Ceilidh. One year I was Treasurer for the Ceilidh. After collecting the money at the door, I put it in my sporran for security. Once we got into the dancing, it didn't seem such a good idea as it was a dead weight bashing against my front, most noticeable during the faster dances such as the Dashing White Sergeant, Eightsome Reel and the Strip the Willow.

It was a relief to fish the money out again at the end, and give the Band their share.
