I Dislike When Christians Assume Other People Are Christian

I find christians very arrogant. They seem to think they have the right to force their beliefs onto everyone else and just can't accept the fact that not everyone believes in their imaginary friends. They repeatedly lie by claiming they can prove their god is real but never present the evidence they claim to have, just more and more meaningless propaganda.

They claim they believe in freedom of speech and religion, in practice, only for those who agree with them. They're entitled to believe in mythical beings if they want, I just wish they'd keep it to themselves.

I expect some will be along shortly to tell me I'm wrong while proving I'm right. :)

To say Christians are arrogant is wrong. To say that Christians this or that is wrong. The same would be wrong to say the same about atheists. As not all atheist speak negatively about Christians.

@SimplyTracie Either you haven't met many christians or you are one. Which is it?
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@ImDone Me
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@suzie1960 I am a Christian
suzie1960 · 61-69, F
@SimplyTracie So why don't you believe Atheists are going to Hell for rejecting "god"? I used to be a christian so I took the positive step of turning my back on it.
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@suzie1960 I don’t think you would forsake God if you knew Him. I don’t think we really know God enough to forsake Him. That’s why.
suzie1960 · 61-69, F
@SimplyTracie In a way you're right but you're just trying the deny the fact that I was a christian. I find christians often do that because they find the idea of a christian breaking away unpalatable.

The simple fact is, I discovered "god" was just a myth. I couldn't forsake it because it doesn't really exist, it was just a figment of my imagination.

@suzie1960 gods and religions are solely a way of mass control.
Nothing good ever comes out of them, war after war and nothing of any use.
Sueisright · 31-35, F
And there the biggest hypocrites in the world.
Thé do as I say not as I do brigade
Sueisright · 31-35, F
And when there little book was thought to be a bit too much of a video nasty they re write it to take out some if the extra nasties and pretend they dint exist
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@suzie1960 I wouldn’t say you’re wrong. All I can say is that I have faith that God is real and His gospel is true.

It doesn’t bother me too much that you don’t believe as I do. But it does offend me when people criticize Christians for taking comfort God and in their prayers.
suzie1960 · 61-69, F
@SimplyTracie I don't criticize christians for what they believe, I just get sick of their evangelizing, trying to force their beliefs onto me and those like me. Members of other religions don't do it, why do christians think they have the right to?
Sueisright · 31-35, F
That’s so true well them and jehovas witnesses have to inflict there beliefs on others @suzie1960
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@suzie1960 I am a Christian and I don’t do that. I don’t know anyone who has attempted to force their beliefs on anyone.

I think it’s wrong to lump all Christians in one box.

@SimplyTracie there are plenty in here that try to force there Christian beliefs ,I have unfortunately had to deal with 3 in the last month alone
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@Sueisright There are those that do. But to come out and say Christians do this or that as if all Christians are alike is blatantly false.
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@ImDone Of course there are Christians who are crusaders against abortion. They are strong voices for what they believe in.

But you talk as if all Christians are pro-life. Are you suggesting that atheist are pro-choice? Like, oh you are an atheist? You must be pro-choice. 🙄

@ImDone I thought I already made my argument about Christians. Not all Christians are alike. Like, not all men are dumb either.

And you sir, brought up abortion, not me.

In the city locally there asking the government for money for the cathedral upkeep.
I don’t agree at all if they get it. They are mega rich and want the rest of society to pay for it.
Turn it into apartments or something if they can’t afford to keep it.
