I Love My Mum
Since my sister left home I feel I have lost my best friend. The one person who understood me completely and with whom I could share everything. I have not felt very happy in months. Schoolwork is difficult and I seem to be the only girl in the school with a girlfriend, so there are not many people who understand how I feel about her. I am acting out of character and sometimes I behave childishly and have a bad temper, which I hate.
My mum has tried so hard to understand what I am going through and to talk to me. Sometimes it irritates me, but most of the time I really like her for it. She encouraged me to go the the doctor, but did not force me. Even when she is angry with me she will have time to listen.
I have been grounded all week for my rudeness and, although Sophie was allowed to come around yesterday to do homework, she was not allowed to stay the night. So I was feeling a but sad and fed up alone in my room. But my mum brought me hot chocolate and snacks that I like and we sat on my bed watching a movie.
