I was caned by my dad from the age of seven. My mum began to cane me when I was ten, but she only did it about twelve times. She mainly used the slipper. She always thought she hit hard, but she never hit as hard as my dad. She never made me cry like he did.

It used to be quite common, certainly in the UK and judging by this site, the US too. I don't agree with real CP despite being interested in consensual spanking etc between adults - though I think my penchant was seeded by childhood experiences. @Sharon Similar for me too Sharon, hairbrush off Mum and slipper off Dad bent over a knee but it was always Dad who punished me over the kitchen table when I was a really naughty boy, often using a cane !!

For I grew up as a single parent's son - my father was dead when I was a kid - I envied my mates who has dads to punish them properly. Lads need discipline, and a fatherly arm to punish them properly. My mother always did it in angry and tired quickly. So you should feel luckily for having such a dad.
