I'm Always Trying to Understand Why
My last four days have been kind of a whirlwind - it’s been a blur. It started with chemo on Saturday, for 6 hours, then feeling out of sorts, I wasn’t feeling sick after, just really worn out. Then some nausea but the meds I got took care of it...
It was the next thing - I had to get an injection to increase my white blood cell count....this is what is kicking my ass...the biggest side effect is bone pain. I was told it would be in my back but no, it’s in all my bones, even my skull...
Pain killers are killing the pain but not putting me to sleep...
I need to sleep. And since my brain won’t stop, I keep wondering, why me?
