What's the easiest to read bible that still keeps the original message of the bible for people that are lazy readers?

I would stick with just one translation. If you can't read Hebrew or Aramaic then the best course is to get the info from multiple sources so you aren't fooled by one bad source.

Study bibles are great and easy to read and easy to keep up with and the language is more updated to modern times

eta - or red letter bible (you can skip all the boring stuff and just what Jesus supposedly said is highlighted in red ink)

NLT - New Living Translation. I also suggest reading The Message alongside it. NLT = translation. The Message = paraphrase.
