Having no friends from the beginning, are you the same?

Hi...
Well, first of all my academic life is kind of successful and I don't really have money issues. I just literally have no friends. I was always bullied at school because I am different and my parents are pretty abusive. Lately it has became pretty difficult for me to focus as I always, stupidly, try to talk to people who, in the end, ignore me. I have no life outside studying and its starting to tear me to pieces and affecting my academic progress. I think like I am being torn apart as the sensation I get are constant and unbearable.

I wish I had at-least one genuine friend who would really like my company... How about you? Do you try to coop with it or no?
