I Am Proud of My Heritage
I am very proud of my heritage ,I come from a long line of pioneers ,
but on the issue of the rebel flag ,will you indulge me ?
can I say a few things and ask a few questions ?
My Statement is more of a few statements mixed with some questions,
For you grammar police ,please pardon my grammar I know it sucks ,I apologize ,for you one liners who hate to read ,pardon the book ,I tried to at least make sure the spelling was right .
So ,A question then to add some opinion ,I will avoid saying its facts,
but since my Grandson and I have gone at this over and over I am growing weary just talking about it .
People who are Pro flag are not bending and People who want to see it burned and ash to be forgotten, are not bending either ,but the whole thing is funny to me ,How many of you are over 152 ?,
You will see why I asked in a second .
I am from the South ,My Moms family actually from Charleston ,the City I live in now we still have the annual "Blue and Gray" reenactment ,
I actually had family caught in the North when the war broke out ,Homes ,business's and friends ,Church and the war breaks out ,yes I am sure they knew it was coming ,,who knows why they stayed ,but who knew exactly what this war would bring ?
This is not other countries coming in trying to kill "US" this is "US" not USA ,but we the people .so A lot depended on which side of the line you were on .
They expected them to fight brother against brother ,mothers to give up their sons ,,homes taken over and used as headquarters and Barracks and burned when they served their purpose .SO both sides lost not matter who won .
Moms lost husbands and sons and the real agenda is not so black and white as some try to act like it is either ,since its usually the winner who gets to write the history ,
though there are 2 sides to every story ,somewhere in the middle is some truth ,,So to my question and Peachs I promise you dear this is in not way making light of your beliefs or opinion ,God bless you and we should all be at least allowed to have one ,this is the USA built on Democracy ,we the people all have certain rights ?
The war ended over 152 yrs ago ,its was from April 12, 1861 – May 9, 1865
Now as a member of the United States Coast Guard ,I took an oath to defend the United States of America against all enemies ,foreign and domestic ,and domestic means anyone who would see to do her harm from inside our boarders or to divide her again .
I did not carry the Union Flag ,My Grandfather before me did not carry the Union Flag ,now my Great Great Grandfather ,though there is much history about him ,I do not know anything about what flag he defended ,but I do know the Union Jack was not the only flag used during the Civil War ,and it was only used for a certain time " it was not the only battle flag of the South"
And the "Stars and Stripes honors the 13 with the 13 stripes ,so SSSSHHH they will come after them too
You are right when you say Peach's some books including the Bible have had some alterations in later years ,books like Huck Finn and Tom Sawyer removed from many libraries .and anyone who says has not taken place , has not looked lately ,
So no one I know of ,still living carried that flag ,
So what I want to know is how 9 Christians being murdered in a Church turned into the civil war all over again ?
The boy had a rebel flag in his room ,He was sick ,he could murder and smile and tell a witness he was leaving her alive to tell the story ,Do we destroy everything sacred to many ,over the actions of the few ,
Like lets kill all cops because a few are bad ? or kill all Blacks because statistics show they kill more people and their own the whites and this also happens in countries that never even had slavery ?
Christians were murdered ,We know the name's Trayvon Martin ,George Zimmerman,
Does anyone know the Pastors name ? the senior pastor, state senator Clementa C. Pinckney ,a State Senator ,a Bible teacher and Pastor ,No one knows his name ,the Flag war overshadowed his death and 8 other people ,no one knows their names either ,,see there was no agenda ,Rodney King ,Anthony Weiner ,John and Lorena Bobbitt we know who they are .
And the next day they are going after a "Rebel flag" on the Georgia capital ,Cornell William Brooks and Rev Al Sharpton ,then throw in Black Panther Party ,now we may as well say it ,Black lives matter movement ,but the Christians we BLACK ,where were they then ?
Now every time that flag gets raised ,another monument comes down ,like the 10 commandments ,,if anything should stand they should .
The basics for every law that we hold dear that tells a nation that was founded on God ,,Not North or South God and freedom of Religion ,free from Papal rule also protects the citizens of the USA ,,and all 10 are the essence of Love .
SO why did no one defend them ?
So another question,, are we going to stop the war someone apparently is capable of winning ,and choose our battles more wisely ? because look closely ,this one the "This is my Heritage "side ,we are not winning ,Look what has happened since that murder in a Church ,
Are you willing to push until you see Mount Rushmore National Memorial and Stone Mountain removed? ,and not one sign of the heritage we say we are fighting for remain ,they say "All Public Land ,they (Union Reminders )Have to go .
Someone has the means to win this war ,,if the flag coming down off the Capital over some Christians being murdered does not show there is an agenda ,and they are winning ,,,what is it going to take to put this battle to rest?or get people to see ,this is way bigger then a flag .SO Christians ,let me remind you .

The Church sit on its hands and let the prayer come out of schools over 1 ,,
the latest transgender rest rooms ,in school ,girls shower with boys because they do not identify with girls and boys want to shower with girls because they do not identify with boys ,this is schools for Christ sake ,its an agenda ,how can you feel safe knowing no one else wants you there ?3 Kids started this .or I should say their parents did "They have rights ".
People who do not care what God says ,since they do not agree with what the Bible says ,How are they allowed to change a religious institution to be gutted so 7% of Americans have "Rights "to do in a Church what God says is an Abomination ? but those rights still do not protect everyone ,,like people who won't marry anymore because they will loose food stamp and the little help with medical
They have been with the same mate 30 yrs ,but not allowed to make end of life decisions ,or entitled to their estate ,they are not married .
Our the Pledge of allegiance gutted, one nation under God"? ,
Another group says Christians offend them ,So who defends the rights of a Christian ,Muslim can speak ,their faith taught in schools ,Gays can speak ,even Disney has a day for that and some places have parades ,
So everyone has rights ,and a heritage except Christians ?
Where was the anger then ?where was the outcry then ?
We all need to wake up ,,there is a bigger battle going on . now is a time when Words spoken by Christ were never more true .
A house divided against itself can't stand ,
I have never seen our country more divided then it is right now ,
So another question ,,Do we just go ahead and strike the match and watch it burn ?
